Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest. Held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October, with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year. If you can't go to Munich to join Oktoberfest, then Oktoberfest will come to you. A celebration of the harvest in German style. A wonderful blend of family fun, music, food and beer. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since the year 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations that are modelled after the original Munich event.

During the event, large quantities of Oktoberfest Beer are consumed: during the 16-day festival in 2013, for example, 7.7 million litres were served. Visitors also enjoy numerous attractions, such as amusement rides, sidestalls and games. There is also a wide variety of traditional foods available.
Here, Wochinger Bräu at the InterContinental Hangzhou has brought the authentic Oktoberfest to you. Their Wochinger beer is brewed directly on the premises whereby the German brew master is using only the best products (hops, malts) from Germany and also the equipment is all imported from Germany. For the Oktoberfest, they will have a special beer from the tap like the real Oktoberfestbier in Munich.

The famous Pork Knuckle has a robust pork flavour with crispy skin, it has been marinated for over 24 hours, absorbed the flavours from the dark beer, it's crispy outside, but tender and juicy inside.
猪足的皮烤得非常酥坚 ，肉量咸而没有 腻，喷喷鼻 中躲陈，尝起去却有股意念没有 到的薄老心感。正宗的德国服法是把土豆与卷心菜拆 正在一起 咀嚼 ，正在咸辣当中隐现出一股温杂 的仄仄。
The sausage platter offers different sausages, such as Bratwurst, Thuringer, cheese sausage and Nuernberger sausages along with imported Bavarian styled mustard (sweet). The sausages came with roasted potatoes and sauerkraut imported from Germany. The cheese sausage is what you should really looking forward to, it is a smoked sausage oozing with cheese.

The classic “Obatzda” with the special dense and chewy pretzel bread was another favourite. Obatzda is a traditional Bavarian cheese delicacy made with camembert, brie, paprika, onion and garlic. It was hard to resist breaking off pieces of pretzel and dipping it in the creamy tangy Obatzda.

The show is a perfect mix of German songs (traditional and party songs), famous English sing-along songs and Chinese songs. The dances and games are involving the audience which creates an unforgettable evening. The band worked hard to choose the right songs, games and dances to make the crowd satisfied.
